Has anyone used wheel spacers on a 1500 silverado? I'm looking at 1.5" spacer with 33" tires.

The acutual vehicle they are installed on doesn't really matter. Since it's a half ton truck it should be fine. Be sure to torque them properly

It shouldnt put alot more load on them. it may increase the wear, but as long as there torqued to spec and checked often they should hold up fine. Ive been running a set of 1" on the jeep for a while, and havent had any problems.

The spacer won't cause any vibes itself, but if you have worn suspension then it might amplify the problem. Also the new tires might have vibes.

ok thanks guys...the truck runs good now with the tire on it and no vibs..sounds like the spacer wont hurt it!
