Has anyone else noticed that they tax you for earning money, saving money, and spending money?

It?s interesting to see that the biggest line item of the fed budget is Health & Human Services ( http://www.hhs.gov/ ), then comes DoD, then debt reduction, all of which are miles ahead of the other expenditures.

It?s also interesting to note that the top 1 percent of wage earners pay 36 percent of the taxes, and the bottom 50 percent pay only 3.3 percent.

It is the wants of the populace that drives for more taxes. As long as we, as a culture, demand more, the only place money comes from is the individual. This kinda goes along with the minimum wage thread, too.

Capitalism, then socialism, then communism.

I was listening to the news a few minutes ago, hearing about record foreclosures on over extended mortgages, record credit card debt, extravagant spending.... The bubble will pop one day, maybe not in my lifetime, but - it will.

Are we ready???? God will supply what we NEED, not necessarily what we WANT.

Wow this is strange lol...this is all true however there is a way around most if not all these taxes...i was just lookin around on the net TODAY and i found a big loop hole most people dont think about...if you wanna konw what it is then look for it...if you cant find it then ill tell you..and the reason i tell you to look for it, is that most people dont beleive it until they see it and if i just told you about it and where it was, most of you would just think it is a scam...so if you wanna know let me know  8)

US Department of Health & Human Services = Welfare
(they also manage most functions of social security)

Before FDR, this department didn't exist - it was created as a crutch to help the nation pull out of the Great Depression. America is still leaning on that old crutch. Ultimately it was WWII that finally turned our economy around.

that may very well be a loop hole around taxes but what iam talkin about has nothing to do with welfare

I believe we'd could figure it out ourselves. If it walks like a duck & quacks, it probably is one. Things that seem too good to be true, usually are just that.

Our two posts have nothing to do with guessing about the tax loophole.

03-09-2007, 09:36 AM
Well iam only telling you the truth...neither has anything to do with it....and the chances of you looking for it and finding it are slim to none...the reason being..the goverment makes the illusion that its against the law to do it, and i can see why . This does not walk like a duck and it does not quack like a duck..its not that simple...and like i said, if i did tell you youd think it to good to be true, but if you find it yourself i promise youll find all the little bits and pieces you need, to know that its good and true....

I understand... I'm just saying that my post had nothing to do with guessing what your post was about.

I know what it is about but what if no one paid taxes who would pay for the roads you drive on and everything else that our taxes pay.

I agree with George someone has to pay for all this stuff and it sure won't be the government they would rather raise taxes or create new ones so they can have a raise.

03-10-2007, 12:49 PM
Like i said the goverment makes it seen like it is illegal...so thats why no one really knows...its said only the rich and famous know...and i know alot of wealthy folks that dont pay half the taxes you guys pay

I agree with George someone has to pay for all this stuff and it sure won't be the government they would rather raise taxes or create new ones so they can have a raise.

The Government IS our taxes, the main reason we are taxed so much is because so few actually pay them...and I'm not talking about the rich they actually pay most of the taxes that are collected, then the ever shrinking middle class.

Think of what it costs to keep up the millions that are on welfare, the millions that are in prisons, and the millions of illegals recieving government aid. These groups are why our taxes are so high.

03-10-2007, 09:06 PM
you guys do pay those taxes and the rich dont pay most of the taxes....are taxes are high because the goverment does stupid stuff with our money...oh where in dept 400billion dollars lets make the people pay higher taxes....and i dont know who started the rumor "the more money you have the higher your taxes" i know we all know about the mansion on the hill near the bristal raceway...but did you know the woman that lives in that house does not pay taxes at all...

How would you know how much taxes I pay? I think you should either post a link to what you are talking about or drop it myself. Seems kinda like a child that runs around saying, " I know something you don't know!"

Of course this is just my opinion.
