i picked up my axles..in bad shape, its a good thing i was planning to rebuild them anyways the front tag says, 3 50 D6TA BAD BOTTTOM ROW SAYS 603781 9 dunno what it means i dont have my chilton and i couldnt find it online the rear is in even worse shape all kinds of slack but i still got them the steering components and the rims that had 38.5x15 on 15 tires on it for just 650 so if anyone can help i woul dappreciate it....

1976 Ford Dana 44 with 3.50 gears. It's a good axle because it's most likely disc brakes and weld on wedges. If you lift it high you may need to cut the wedges off and rotate for better caster.
3.5 gears are no good with 38's. You will need 4.56 gears.
Dana 44 will not survive with a locker and 38's unless you get chromoly shafts and joints.
They used a y link instead of true cross over steering. Hopefully you'll trash and do custom DOM steering or at a minumum get the linkages from a 78-79 model.

the truck was a 79 f150 that they came off of and had 38.5 i junked them they were rotted kept the rims disc in from and yes they are all to heck too much play and rattle i am doing chome moly and at oriellys with my dscount im getting them for about half of what bronco graveyard offerred them .....i was going to put in 4.56 or 4.88 with lockers everything internal will be chrome moly front and rear gene bledsoe of performance engines and transmissions in blountville is going to help me with the rebuild and since i use to work there it will be our project instead of a labor cost job and ill start the sas in feb after my dad gets home so he can help :-D but im buying all the items paycheck at a time so it will work out better i thank you for all the advice and help youve given me exspecially with hooking me up with 4x4 tailshaft for my c6
