Mercedes whatzit?

What does Mercedes-Benz manufacture in the 4wd line besides the G-Wagen? I know the Uni-Mog and such but I've eyeballed a unit around Johnson City that I can't identify. Picture a Samurai blown up to half again it's size. This particular one is red and has a soft top with that unmistakable three point star in the grille. It's a good lookin' rig and appears to be stock. Just bugs me when I can't look over at the wife and smuggly say "Oh that's a ______." :grin:

Yup that's it, was a G-Wagen, I've just never seen a soft top around here and that's what threw me. And I think the "G" I was thinking about was the 500 maybe - uber bucks$.

Lol no its not a G its call a W460 300 GD look it up and youll find a hard top version

i did leave out a bit of info...THEY ARE ALL CALLED Gwagons..but the one you see around town is the w460 300GD (the original G-wagon) :lol:

i think they make a few SUVs that are 4WD....but they are new. could be soemthing custom who knows.

i saw a 2wd chevy driving down stone drive with a cadilac grill and rear emblem, custom tail lights, custom paint, ect. actually looked pretty sweet.
