Looking to invest in a set from like Norther Tool. Im tired (pun intented) of paying the tire shop 10 bux every time I want to dismount and mount a tire. Anyone use them before? Do I get 1 each of straight and curved, or two each, two of one and one another? Any advice is appreciated...

Also... is there a local place to get repair parts for Warn winches?

There is a place here (D&B Electric) that sells any electric parts.

I've done some by hand and just used two big prybars. You will need to break the bead and need something to do that.

One of each is what I've used. Plus a big, heavy weight hammer to walk the spoons around at times. Biggest issue is like Shawn said, breaking the bead loose. Bumper jack and the weight of the car, so it tells you how long ago it's been since I've done it. Might look for a used manual changer.

I have used a Hi lift and the back off a truck to break a bead. Gets kinda scary till it breaks. Usually the truck came off the ground before it broke. Also I got a new winch motor for my Ramsey at D@B.

IIRC the last time i was at D&B there was a Warn sign on the door. So I'd say they can get parts for them.

We have a manual bead breaker at work. With that and two big screwdrivers or prybars we mount dismount and mount all the tires we need. It works pretty well.
