That's something I've never done and there's really no excuse for it, living as close to it as we do. May need to plan a weekender when things start greening up a bit. That's one grand piece of handiwork. Maybe I'd be encouraged enough to paint my living room!

You guys need to go, that place takes quite a while to tour everything!
I believe we spent over 7hrs there. IMO the best time to visit is mid-spring, when the flowers are blooming.

Richard got to go to it for his birthday and he took me and Ryan so we went and did it. Not bad but I would have loved to go out there in my truck. Also it is so expensive to get into that place.

I thought they did...my buddy just went down two weekends ago and did it with the range rover...I havent gotten a chance to talk to him about it...I did hear briefly that he wont by a range rover though after it cause it just doesnt make sense to wheel something that expensive.....I told him that if you can afford to wheel it...wheel it.....

I wouldnt. I mean they do well and stuff but I cant see wheeling a rig that expensive. I can rebuild my whole truck for the price of just doing a few things to a rover. Rovers are nice dont get me wrong. Also I just dont fit very well in them. They are not to comfortable to me. Not sure why but they just arent.

I agree...I like the rovers and all, but they have a lot of computers. The computers and screens in them make my monty's computers look like an old Commodore 64. I do think its cool to be able to see what they display for while offroading on your dash though...that is pretty sweet....... But computers have their downfalls....there is a lot to be said about a straight locker front and rear and simple old fashion wiring setup to be able to fix it easily.....I am speaking from the wonderful "Learning Experiences" I have had troubleshooting the problems on my monty... hehe

You need a computer to work on the new rovers. The new wrench is going to be the Computer.

When you'ns was at the hotel did you notice the fireplace screens at the bar and restaraunt? (both to the right when you enter the lobby, one on main level, other down the big stair) I made them. :smokin:

my wife and I went there on our one year anniversery. We took the basic tour around the house, hit one of the fancy resturaunts and the winery. We saw tons of deer, and people. But that was in late fall so we want to see it during the summer when all the flowers are in bloom.
