I was tooling around the internet tonight and found some information on this Red Rock bill. Looks like bad news for off-road enthusiasts in Utah.

From what I can gather, a group of environmentalists and politicians want to declare 9.3 million acres of land in Utah as "wilderness"... which would make it off-limits for development, mining and off-road vehicles. The bill has been around for 20 years now, but its actually going before a House of Rep sub-comittee tomorrow.

I like the development and mining part about the bill.

They go after the offroad people but what about all these companys that go in and strip 100's of acres of trees and farm land so they can develop supdivisions.:angry5::angry5:

I'm all for banning the mining and development as well. But there must be a compromise out there that could satisfy the environmentalists and the 4x4 crowd.
