That's just plain rediculous. Who would pay that kind of money for a buggy? And where would you take it to give it a challenge? NASA should buy it and put it on the moon.

its sweet looking, but way to flashy. Tons of chrome.

I can't believe that thing's for sale already. Thats Tim Cameron's newest rig, it was just finished a couple months ago.

I bet he's not happy with it. It's to small to fit a normal sized person.

I think I'll sell the house, mortgage the buggy for 30 years and live in it. Anybody have a tarp I can borrow?

If you will let me drive it Matt, I'll hold an umbrella over your head for ya no charge

Nope, but I'd be glad to take your jeep in trade.

If I am not mistaken the last buggy Tim had cost him $150K and looked just like that one. Trust me the thing is not little. Somewhere in the 120" wheelbase range maybe a little longer. Now the cockpit is not that really big...LOL

Since it's on Youtube I can't watch the video at work so I'm not sure which one's in that link. But there's two of these buggies that are pretty similar. If you look at them side by side the differences are obvious though. The first one was called "The Fat Girl", this one is the Fat Girl on a diet, AKA Jenny Craig. It was built much smaller, lighter, and lower.

What does he do to afford buggies like that? Sit on a trust fund or something?

It must be nice to spend $150K on toys!

If I am not mistaken his father has the money and Tim works for him. Cannot remember what it is he does. I want to say his dad owns a car dealership but I am not even 50% on that.

Well I talked to my banker (aka wife). If I buy that it will cost me a whole lot more than the cost of the rig. So I guess I'm stuck with my xj.:eusa_silenced:

Decided that one was too cheap. Here's one for $130,000 and it's sporting 37's too.

Wonder if they would take a house in trade? I can always sleep in a tent.

Him and his Dad own some car dealerships...

This rig is alot smaller than Fat Girl... its like ~115" wb, iirc.... plus its only 5'6" top of cage at ride height with 44s....

He said that he liked the rig, but with all the chrome & nice sheet metal, he didnt want to mess it up. He said that if he sells it, he is going to build one very similar but with no skins or chrome... If he doesn't sell it, he's gonna continue to beat it like it owes him $$$

but there are people that will pay that much for one... some of the buggies that get pumped out on the west coast cost well over that...
