Great day wheeling. Changed enough tires to be a NASCAR pit crew. Details to come later. I'm tired.

Yeaah it was a great day of wheeling. So Matt, are you D.C.'s newest customer or is Gabe? LOLOL

Well Gabe works for him. I need to get something with tougher sidewalls. thanks for letting him borrow the tires. I downloaded the video and I'll get it edited and on here.

General synopsis. Ran part of welder to the traffic jam at hte waterfall. We watied then backed down and ran armor all.

Jeremy broke some ujoints on the front driveshaft. Got it fixed.

Patrick blew a fuse to his fuel pump. Took a little diagnosing but h got it going.

Gabe put a 2" hole in the sidewall of a tire. Limped out and put on his spare which was a 31". His tires were 34". Tiny then loaned him 2 tires for the front of his yota to drive home. 31's all the way around would of made for a long ride home with 5.29's

I lost a bead. Got it reseated and kept going.

The rock garden was a blast. Made it farther than I thought I would.

First 20' or so broke a valve stem off on my right rear. Backed down and put my spare on then went for more. Then put a slash in the left rear. Stayed where we were and jambed 2 plugs into it and kept going. Then cut the left front sidewall and broke the bead backing down. So we took the valve stem out of that one and put it in the one that we borke the valve stem out of and aired it up. Since I was out of tires I let someone else have a go. Somehow I broke a hub, my battery hold down and bent my unbendable 4130 tierod.

Patick in the toyota broke a shaft not long into it. Had to winch out.

Jeremy crawled most of the way up. Made it look easy right up to the point where the rear got bound up and broke a control arm bolt. During the 2 winch recovery he brok a rear ujoint as well. About 2.5 hours later he was fixed a ready to go.

Great run, great people.

It was nice to meet some great people and do a " little" wheeling . Matt , I owe you bigtime for the Ubolts and winch controller . I was not prepared . The XJ was awesome and with some beadlocks and descent tires , you would be crawling all over that place . It was nice to meet Tiny and Gabe as well .

Matt , the bolts on my links were grade 5 and I put a couple of grade 8 bolts in . Please tell me again about those other bolts and where you get them .

This is Gabe, my new tires will be here Tuesday. "tires"... i went ahead and bought a full spare... I also believe i get to keep the old tire with the hole in the sidewall, might try and have that fixed and tube it. That will give me 2 spares. Not going to end my day soon again.

Great meeting you.

Forgot to add to the carnage list.

Broken hatch, drive hub won't unlock, broken corner light and my rear bumper is bent I noticed yesterday.:eusa_silenced:

And yes I need some better tires. That was just ridiculous.

I think we all ended our day sooner than we wanted. I went back with Bob and his Dodge M-37 that he has on Tues. and we wheeled the whole place and ZERO problems :eusa_clap:. It was refreshing to say the least . I even ran that hill climb a couple of times . I am thinking about going somewhere this weekend . Any ideas or takers .

I'm already on jackstands with the tires unmounted. I'm in the garage until the Fall Crawl. I need a cage. Tube should be here next week.

Tell Bob I don't have the 2001 video. I have 1998-2003 except 2001. I must have loaned it to someone. Oh well.
