Just checking to see if anyone here had one that they wanted to sell or that I could borrow. O'reily's wants a $120 deposit to rent one.
Harbor Freight lists one on their website for about $30, I may just stop in there this afternoon and see if they have one in stock.

You get your money back from O when you return it. That in my opinion is cheaper.

They way I have seen with loan a tool is you pay for the tool in case you never bring it back.

Got one from Harbor Freight today for $30. It should do the trick.

i think the one at advance is about the same price as Oreillys, but as said, you get your money back when you bring it back...
or you could take the piece up there, and alotta times theyll let you do it in the store for free... atleast the one here does....

That is good to hear. But he would have to load it on a trailer and take it apart there to get a ball joint on/off.

I've got one of the HF ones you could have borrowed. Sorry I just saw this post. The HF one works well but I wouldn't use an impact on it or over stress it . Never had any issues with mine and it's been used alot.

Thanks Brian. I actually worked on it today. I got the old ones out, just have to get it put back together.
I did use an impact on this one today, but we also used a little heat and a hammer to help break them loose. They popped out pretty easily.

I normally use a big hammer to knock the old ones out, then press the new ones back in.
