i have a Hot Coat powder coating system from Eastwood...they sell the gun for $99.99...i will take 50 bucks and i have all the rubber plugs that come with the kit they sell ....also have assorted powder( 9 bottles) that i will let go with it

Have you tried it out? I’ve always wondered how well they work. I wouldn’t mind having one to do small parts but I’ve herd that the coating is not as durable as when you have it done some place.

yeah i have used it alot when i was building motorcycles....its all in how the powder is cured...if its not done right it will be soft

Horton, Daniel and I talked about how sweet it would be to have this tonight. Only problem is having a heat setup large enough to bake things like bumpers!

just out of curiosity, what kind of things do you powdercoat other than the obvious items like bumpers? I'm trying to figure out if this could be useful, but I can't think of anything I own that needs powdercoating that won't fit in an oven.

I did alot of motorcycle stuff..but you can do diff covers,valve covers,intakes,wheels,brake drums....its endless
