I was cruising Craigslist for a canoe today and stumbled across this.
http://charlotte.craigslist.org/boa/1268724441.html
Its not mine and I don't know the seller, but I live in Statesville so I can check it out for you if you want. If this isnt your speed, let me know what you're looking for and how much you can spend. I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks for the listing.
I'm looking for a wilderness systems make. Either a Pamlico or Pungo model.
~300 I think is fair market price for one used.

That Rush is a good bit better than the Otter of M&R's and it is the same size and made by the same people. I would say that it is Old Town's equivallent to my Pamlico.

I like the hatch in the stern of the boat. I don't see that on the Rush.

there is a whitewater canoe listed in theEclassifieds.com $100. Very nice and a heck of a deal! I was gonna get it, but I need something bigger.

Dont get the Pelican Pursuit 100 thats on sale at Dicks its 100 off this week so I got one it was unstable and hard to control and wobbly in the water. My wife and kids both tipped it several times. It tracks terrible you have to work to keep it going straight. We took it on a lake and it was calm and had these troubles I wouldn’t dare think of trying it in any moving water.

If you want one for fishing you should look for one of the mainstream sportsman series they have the cool rod holders on each side.
There made in Greenville, South Carolina there made by the same company the makes dagger, there now called Confluence Water Sports and sell under the wilderness system brand name. It sux they got bought out because there prices went way up after they became part of Confluence Water Sports I have a tandem made by them and I love it wish I knew they were going to change at the time I would have bought 2 more of them

Mahoney's is having their annual back lot sale on kayaks this Saturday. I don't know if any other gear will be on sale.
I called to get an idea about the sale, but I think I know less after talking to them. The girl couldn't tell me anything about the sale (what make/models or how much off)
Anybody have an idea how good of a sale this will be?
