atlas or 4:1 D300

I have a stock dana 300 and I'd like to get lower gears. I don't want to spend the money on the Dana 30 to build it, so hoping to find one that's already built or an used Atlas.

Totally right. I still think gearing is overrated. I don't see any need for 200:1. Most trails can be done without crazy low range. Right now my low range is 35.39 and with a 4:1 t-case I can get 54.23. Since I have an auto trans with a high stall that helps alot. With my current setup I've done most obsticles around here. I think just a little lower would help on some of the big rocks. It's just something I'm considering. I'll probably put a stock unit back in.
