is it possible to put tj doors on a yj. i didnt know if it was just a line up the hinges type project or if they just wont fit flat out?

Found this thread by searching Google. Looks like they are not a direct fit due to the rake of the windshield. Two different post say pretty much the same thing even though they are dealing with upper half.

Negative. Not only is the windshield line a tad different, but the door striker/catch pins are completely different. CJ & YJ use one large diameter pin similar to most full size cars & trucks, and TJ use a smaller diameter square hoop (both mounted to the tub). If you can change out the striker pins on the tub & work out the windshield clearance issue they might fit, but that's too much work IMO.

im not really worried with the upper doors but will lower hard doors fit and seal good without any problems?

The latch issue would be your only problem with half doors, and that's a pretty big issue.

Here is a pic of my TJ door striker pin (couldn't find any on the web). Take a look at your YJ pin & you'll see the difference; the doors won't interchange without some modification.
