Let her drive the yota.

That would be the best, don't take a chance on messing up the long trip vehicle if you know what I mean.

That's why I've only taken the Element to Harlan once

I have to agree it won't hold up to well to wheeling.

I agree - don't do it. Wheeling a D/D can be risky. You might get away with it once or twice, but.... it is going to suffer. Every one of our rigs has some kind of trail damage, whether it's body dents, bent tie rods, mud in everything, tire wear, and even a AW4 input seal, torque converter, and pump

Do IT. I need to ride in your xterra sometime. See how a normal one handles etc. I think I would enjoy one as a DD.

I had to laugh it already has body damage from when I was rear ended at a stop sign in greene county ( ).......

But thank You guys for your imput I guess after we get blue up and running I'll look for something I can take off road.....I have been looking at 4runners for that... or maybe a bronco..... but there was a part of me that thought just maybe the explorer could do bays without a huge problem.... I guess Vince will just have to let me drive the yota

Vince, remember the first time I met you? Russell drove Amber's Sport Trac thru Paint Creek - he was right behind me in the convoy & I could hear all sorts of banging & clanging from underneath it. He was in the doghouse for quite a while after that  She also made him get his own trail rig, but I don't think he's done anything with the XJ yet
