Sony HandyCam

I have a Sony HandyCam with the 60MB hard drive. Problem is I have not been successful in transferring from the camcorder to disk.

I've tried using the PMB software that came with it and the Easy Tranfer (one button disk burn) with no success.

It keeps giving me error "drive not found". Well it's not giving me an option to select a drive. I've looked on the web and even download the update.

Any idea?

Sounds like windows isn't recognizing the camera

I am working with a Canon, that has a setting buried in the "play" mode that was labeled "pc/printer" I pulled my hair out trying to get this thing going. It may be a setting in the camera. My computer wouldnt reconize it until then.

I going to admit this as I no computer expert......found the problem. It's kind of hard to burn a DVD when you just have a CD-ROM with DVD playing only. :icon_redface:

Purchased a DVD burner and installed it. Now all is working fine:kewl:

You just burning DVD straight from the camera? Not editing at all? I bet your computer has Windows Movie Maker (not the best... but better than nothing).

Yeah, this was the first sucessful burn straight from the camera. I also, have PMB and Nero8 software and will use these for editing.
