We regret to inform you.... were not the words I was hoping to read when I read my admission letter from Duke. though I am bummed about the rejection I have been blessed to be admitted to several other schools. I guess I just need to trust God will put me where he wants me to be.

I got accepted to UT. I am going to start in the fall! I am thankful I got accepted because it was the only school I applied to. I hope you enjoy where ever you decide to go :)

Big name schools are just that. Big names. Your paying for the Name and tiny possibility that it will bring you to a better Job.

I graduated from Colorado State University. When I applied for jobs in my career field, I put on my resume that I had a Bachlors from Colorado State University. But one instance the job I have now I went in for the interview, with the intentions of handing in my resume so they could look at it as they asked questions etc... Well they didnt want my resume, all the asked was if I had a college education. I said yes in Information Technlogy with a minor in High School Education. They said oh wow and asked the next question, not once did they ask where my degree is from or where I went to school. I think this about going to a top school is balgona, it does nothing for you. All schools have to follow the same set of cirriculm that Tennessee at Knoxville, East Tennessee State, Vanderbilt, or even Jim Bob Southern Univerisity, as long as they are accredited then they are a good school. Now some schools may have other required classes, that bring them above the rest, but there is no guideline for those classes, all we know they could be teaching how to jump rope, and call it a class. As long as the school is acredited, and not about to lose the acreditation or have lost in within the last 10 years. it is a good school.
Ok Ill get off my soapbox now.

Now thats my .02 cents.
