You have 5 random things to do. Each task is equally important and will take one day to complete, but you only have one day total to work on them. Do you spend a litte time on each or complete one?
Personally, I get started on all 5. That way I know the situation of each and can plan for the phase two.

boy don't i know it  so are you asking how to do 5 days work in one day?

When I worked for the gov't contractor (Lockheed), seemed like we never got anything done on time  . We just blamed the delays on NASA.
Actually, planner as I am, I'd check out all 5, then start them all, unless one was an "all or nothing" type of task. Once they were all started, I'd figure a way to say they were complete, collect my award fees, and move on. Those not started would be sent back to the beginning for spec clarifications.
Sorry for the sick humor. Too much sniffing of hypergols.
Actually, I'd start them all, most likely. But, I would evaluate them first to make sure once started, any wouldn't regress until finished. Then, I'd go wheelin' :smokin: I'd leave the fish alone.

Well, I would attempt to get one done, but me being me find that hard to do, I'd manage to mess with all five till I'm so confused, give up and go fishing. Yeah, go fishing, why do today what you can put off till tomorrow, LOL. I'm just kidding. But this is coming from the worlds greatest procrastonator. Just my.02.

me id do the ones that is the shortest time to complete that way the next day you have less to do
if i start some thing and dont get to finish it i forget where i was at and spend half the day going over every thing and end up with half a days work instead of a full day
depends on if i have done it before and know what im doing

I would start them all and not get anything done.

I would do one thing. That way If I can get that one thing done, I would have a sence of accomplishment. Plus when you can focus on one thing you are more likely to get it done and possibly sooner. Then reward your self with Fishing.

I like thetheory of starting them all, and trying to get as much done on each during the day. Then sleep on it, and get a better idea, and finish the all the next day. In reality I would just call 4 good friends, and see what they have to say about each project, then asign them to it. Then you would have the projects done in a day. Did I break the rules. I guess I would have to just find 4 good friends now.

Bend a knee, tell the Lord you can't do it but you know He can and then do them all in one day

I'd weigh all the options, prioritize the most important one(s) and tackle that, meanwhile, I'd delegate the other tasks... lol.

I would get everything ready to go and then call 5 people that specialized in each task. all would get started and finished in the 1 day allotted I dont fish so I would just hang around and give a hand where one may be needed.... problem solved 8)
