Yes, just remove the factory and install a volvo or taurus electric fan in it's place.

i just put electric fans on mine (79 f250) this week. i bought 2, 14" fans from whites machine for $22 dollars each, they have 12",14",16". i reversed the blade on it and made it push air through the radiator (blowing frontward). i used 2 pieces of 1" square tubing, 1 on top and 1 on bottom and it bolted in the same holes on the radiator that were for the shroud. i couldn't believe how easy the install was. i made mine blow this way hopping it will blow muddy water out instead of blowing it all over the motor, it's a mud bog only truck. they look good on there and i believe would work fine in place of a belt driven fan. especially with a thermostat switch. i had a 78 with a 351 that had 1 electric fan on it with a manual switch and i never turned it on until i was in a drive through or stopped somewhere longer than a red light.
