63's are not quite the lift as say a 4" lift spring
also i have brand new springs inthe front.
when they settle it may be more level than it is now.
if not then I will adjust the sag.

I want to go, but I'm not sure if my rig can make it. I think I've got a u-joint going out somewhere. It's making a lot of noise at slow speeds in 4LO. I'm hoping it's just one on the front DS, if it is I'm in. If it's an axle shaft joint, then I'm gonna have to bum a ride. :(

Well I guess my rig won't be up for the trip. I've got a driverside u-joint gone bad, and there is some serious slop in the front output shaft on my TC. I guess it's a bearing gone bad. :x I won't have the money to fix it for a couple weeks.
Soooo, anybody got an open seat?

I'm not sure if my parts are going to be here in time for this weekend. So I might drive up in the rubi. However I'm not up for body damage with my DD. So if all the trails are tuff then I might not go.

Chris, need to hunt up a Kevlar clutch disc. I always preferred straight drive, but not so in recent years, especially on the trail. How'd the XJ do?

On the trail...it rocked!
In the rocks...I was so excited to finally be in garden that I was beside myself. It was my first rock ride EVER with a manual trans...smoked the clutch some(still works fine). The clearance and articulation walked right through the garden...need to work on my stop & start without fanning too much.
Had fun...Ben was the only volunteer to ride in the open air
Wes,Matt, Andy, & Country Boy it was good riding - got to do it again soon!

Clutch and Brake supply in JC can build heavy duty clutches with the Kevlar linning, and build a heavy duty pressure plate. They built the one in my Blue YJ I had a couple years back. It had a 350 chevy and a 465 trans. I got it hot plenty of times, but it never slipped a bit. The prices there are sometimes cheaper than the auto stores. And well worth it.

Yup, Clutch & Brake is the place. I personally have not used them since all my junks are automatic, but my brother-in-law has used them many times on stuff going thru his shop.
