Hello people!
I'm new to 4X4Grace and have an awesome idea. I want to put together a big jeep ralley in western nc... get some churches involved...live music...BBQ..etc. Would love to hear any ideas or suggestions on where to get started. My thoughts are a big feild...best jeep contest...stock and modified. simply a get together for local jeeps.. 5 to 10 buck enter fee to so to missions or charity..come hang out..show of your ride. Have boulders moved in for flex tests and pictures...what to ya think?

side note...I'm running a 2001 wrangler sport..with a 3.5" rubicon express lift..with JKS quick disconnect sway bars..rock crusher trak bar...16" jeep rubicon moab rims on enduro 285 MT's. I have a K&N intake with helix throttle body spacer and dynamax catback exhaust. KC daylighter fogs on stock bumpers. I'm wanting to add bilstein 5100 shocks and warn rocker sliders. I'm putting a 3/4 inch spacer to level out the front end. I'm wondering for anyone has a warn,ramsey, or mile marker winch at least 8000lbs for sale...in good used shape?

There are activities that go on in the Charlotte area, and are posted up in our events section. Those would be great opportunities to meet some Grace members for fellowship and some wheeling. Lately, we have had an increase in NC membership, and the BOD has been in discussion about development in that area.

We have been having meet & greets at TiredIron's farm for a number of years - fall & spring. We will be posting up about the spring one here shortly. It is held near Kingsport, TN so perhaps a bit distant for you, but there is a place to camp - often folks stay overnight so a longer distance becomes less of a burden. If you could attend, you'd get a feel for how a M & G works.

An event that is specifically a 4X4Grace event must be sponsored by a 4X4Grace Supporter. We avoid "monetary" events (ie, awards etc), as Grace is a "Christ first, then wheeling" ministry. There are non-Grace events that occur which have other parameters - they will be posted in the Non-Grace Events section.

We are always open to suggestions - also, I'd encourage you to hook up with some of the NC folks who have been members for a time, get to know them, and all of us, for that matter. Feel free to join in on these events and get a feel for how things flow.

We will be having a group ride/meet and greet on May1st in Clover, SC (about 45 min or so south of charlotte) and then going over to the JAARS center with John (surfersami) on the 2nd.

You are welcome to come join us for the ride, camping, cooking out, ect. There are several trails ranging from mild to wild, creek crossings, Huge tire obstical course, ect.

come out, meet some folks and we can discuss some future events.

I'm from Clyde NC, and work in ashevegas. I'm new to the jeep seen. i had a 96 nissian, lifted 2inches and ran 32's, with k&n, dynamax, on 16inch micky t's. but i wanted a jeep, so i bought one and trade old red in. much better.
