Ok some of you may have heard rummors of a guy opening his land up for 4x4 races near lowes motor speedway. If you haven't then let me be the first to say it's true. The first race was held back at the begining of January. I was unable to attend it. The next race is on Feb 14th at 9am sharp. To enter the race there is a 30 fee and a nice cash prize to the winner. Spectators are free however, if not enough people show up spectators maybe charged $5. However, Andy has said he would like to keep it open for people to wheel on the weekends but he needs some help. So this Saturday the 7th we are having a work day to cut trails out for people to wheel. There are two groups meeting that day. One that is meeting at Andy's at 9am to get some major work done and then another is meeting at 3pm at Tar Heel 4wd then riding over to Andy's after. If you have any interest in helping open up some local trails let me know. I will be at Andys at 9am and possibly will ride over to Tarheel at 3 unless we get to carried away working.

Sorry if I wasn't 100% clear. He is has a racing trail right now that goes around the property. He plans on having a race there once a month. That's on the 14th and I won't be able to make it either.
This Saturday the 7th were going out there to cut trails for regular riding. Nothing flex out exteme probably but somthing fun to trail ride. There apparently is one really nice hill there that were going to work into a hill climb. Also the trees we cut down will probably be used for some log obsticales of some sort. Were all meeting there on Saturday to plan it all out and get some work done. So far I know of around 10 people that are trying to make it out.
