This is the best tool Ive used in the shop we have a nice high end band saw in the shop ill walk but it to use these instead

Mark (tigman)built these 15 years ago when he was a Winston Cup fabricator. thea took them to the track while testing. The nice thing about these is you don't have to take the saw off the stand to change the blades. They have bolt holes in the bottom plate to bolt to a bench, and they also come with an angle plate to clamp them into a vise. They will be $75.00 plus shipping. We will also be offering the foot switch as well as the saws. We take credit cards.

what is the depth and width of the cutting area on the Milwaukee deep throat? Id like to get something like this for mine, but it isnt a Milwaukee... also what are you using to engage the trigger on the PortaBand?

looks like the trigger is zip-tied in the on position. I would assume that there is some kind of on-off pedal plugged in-line. Would be easy enough to do. James

we use a variable speed foot pedal for the trigger
works very well you can run the speed down to make
precision cuts

Thanks Marty Gilliam

The next run of saw stands will fit 3 different brands of saws. The tried and true Milwaukee as well as Dewalt and Porter Cable. We should have all mounting issues with the saw variances resolved. The foot pedal is only on-off not variable speed.
