97 XJ Cherokee Wrecked

I've got a 97 Cherokee that is wrecked. 4.0L I6, AW4 auto trans, NP231 Transfer Case, Chrysler 8.25" Rear Axle, AC, Good Airbags, Good interior (what's left-center console, radio, and a few trim pieces are gone), good from the firewall back, computers are good, 168,000 miles.

I'm going to part this out. Just ask about parts and I'll see if it's on there. Prices are dependant on the part.

It can be seen at Tangent Design in JC. Here are a couple of pics from the day it was wrecked. I can and will get more soon.

Engine = 4.0L I6, approx 168,XXX miles. Started to move Jeep inside. - SOLD

Transmission = AW4 4spd automatic - SOLD

Transfer Case = NP 231, 23 spline input - SOLD

ECU (computer) - $100

Chrysler 8.25" rear end, 29 spline, 3.55 gears, complete drum to drum - $100

I will sell just the engine. It had 168,xxx miles on it when wrecked. If I remember correctly, it didn't smoke and might have a very slight oil leak.

Those are 16x8 Rubicon wheels that have long since been sold. It has a set of stock 15x7 steelies on it now.

Guys, I've got someone interested in the whole thing (first PM I got). If that doesn't work out, I'll start PM'ing you with prices for the parts.

As far as lift goes, it's got coil spacers up front and air shocks out back.

No, it wasn't him. I'm rpetty sure that the engine, trans, and xfer case are on their way out of the Jeep as I type this.

Just wanted to bring this back to the top.

Doors are good, rear hatch is good except the handle and struts are gone, all glass is good, airbags are good, air bag control module is good, dash is good, carpet is good, headliner is even good. I'm open to offers on any of this stuff.

Complete engine (no wires cut) is still available - $400
AW4 Trans - $300
Chrysler 8.25" rear axle - $150 (sale pending)
Steering shaft (good for K5 trucks and blazers) - $30

Make offers on this stuff, I'd like to get it out of the way.

The wheels in the photos are long gone. It's got a set of stock steelies on it with 235/75R15s on it now. I'd sell them though :icon_mrgreen:.

What does the dash look like? I cant remember what year they updated them. I was maybe interested in the heater controls and maybe a radio. Also power window motors? Only need passenger side. I couldnt tell from the pics if they were manual or powered.

i need a trnfer case shifter assembly... ( shift lever, floor bracket) would you happen to have one you would be willing to sale?.... and possibly all the linkage ( rods, and plates that mount on transmission) that run back to the t-case. these are the only parts i need to get my jeep running and on th trails, any help is appreciated!

168,xxx miles, 4.0L I6, ran strong the day it was pulled, it is complete with all the accessories on it and the harness wasn't cut.

Transmission was priced at $200 but make an offer -> SOLD
AW4 4speed automatic, 168,xxx miles, ran and moved the jeep the day it was pulled.

The engine and trans are still bolted together and I'd make a killer deal on the set if someone wanted it.

I'd really like to get rid of these to someone who needs or wants them instead of them being stored in my garage. Feel free to ask questions.
