Has anyone ever ordered from 4wheelparts? I need rocker guards and they have the PSC's with free shipping. saves me a good chunk of change.

One time I did & had no problems. 13.5 " x 33 " baha claws on alum. wheels. Price was what they said & it shipped the day they said.

I ordered a set of wheels and had good luck with them. I have heard people have had bad experiences. I had no issues the one time I ordered from them.

I ordered my winch and a few parts of recovery gear from them and had no problems whatsoever. They gave me discounts on it that had expired over a month back, which amounted to quite a bit off. So I can only say good stuff about em.

Hey Bill, if you haven't ordered yet check out DC4WD. http://www.dc4wd.com/ You can call, or e-mail him for a quote. If you call him just leave a message he will call you back. Whatever price 4wheel Parts has on rockers I'm sure he could beat it, shipping included. He's where I get all my PSC stuff. And he's always way cheaper.

My TrXus & wheels came from them (ordered online) - 2 weeks later they hadn't shipped. I called them & threatened to cancel my order & go to Louisiana and pick up the tires directly from Interco's factory :cwm21: They shipped the next day 8) Other than being slow to ship, they were pretty good to deal with.

Well I called and spoke with them after talking to DC4WD. They are offering free shipping. When I called to ask them about the total cost, which does not show up online before you place your order, and he informed me there was a handling/packaging charge. Which is sorta funny since they do not box these things up. They come strait from PSC with a shipping label stuck to the steel. Needless to say he said he could drop the cost of this to $19.95... And that was half price. DC wants $306 shipped. That seems to be the best price I have found. I may go ahead and ask about the competition stinger for the front. Thanks for all the input guys. Great help.

Just ordered my rear axle shafts from DC, seems like a great guy to deal with, awesome price too.

Hey Bill my front bumper is the PSC Trail stinger. The competition stinger is longer and taller, and you have to brace it back to the frame. I personally prefer the trail stinger but that's just my.02. Just wanted to let you know the difference.

I can't wait to see your rockers when you get them installed. I'll probably be buying the same ones here soon.

I know a guy locally that needs some work. He has access to a full shop and he even owns a tube bender. I bet he could make you some that would be just as nice and save you some money. You'd also be helping the local economy.

hint: Jarret - post up if you want to build some

Question is, does he have access to a metal brake and shear that will bend and cut 3/16"-1/4" plate?

Yes, there's a local machine shop that can do that for him. I'm sure it would save you a bundle, but it wouldn't have the cool laser etched spider in it.

I hear ya. Just can't imagine he could build them for $300 and make anything off of them. The slider bars are 1.5"x.125 wall DOM. See what he will do it for and let me know quick. I would like to have whatever I do before I go back to Harlan in 2 weeks.

Well, I ordered my sliders from DC4WD on 10-30-06. As of today I have not received them. It took 3 emails to get a reply from him and only after I called and left him a vmail. I wanted my tracking #. He replied back via email and said that my sliders shipped 11-14 from PSC with a 5 business day delivery time frame. He also said that there were 63 requests, IN FRONT OF ME, for tracking #'s. He charged my card the very next day after I placed the order.

If I get him on the phone again, I DO plan to tell him that this is pretty poor customer service. And it is, in my humble opinion, taking way too long to get my stuff. If there was a delay due to back order or whatever, then he should have let me know this.

Call the credit card and dispute it and have one of the local guys on here build them for ya.

Under federal law, it is illegal to charge someone for products before the products are shipped

Ok I finally received my rockers. Opened up the box and BANG, no hardware. Called up PSC and got someone on the phone. He appologized and everything. Told me the delay was because they were out of the product. Then he siad he would send me the hardware and asked how FAST I wanted them. I told him to just send them to me as soon as possible. He said he would get them out today. Then I asked him what his name was and low and behold it was Clifton Slay himself. I was kinda shocked that he answered the phone. Anyway, turns out the problem was not with DC4WD.com. My invoice from PSC says it was shipped on 11-3-06 so who knows. I am still happy with my stuff.

Yeah DC (I think that's actually what he goes by) is just a vendor. He does stock a few things in house, and has a full service shop. But most of the stuff he sells ships directly from the manufacturer. Is Clifton Slay the owner of PSC?
