just thnkin bout sprucing up the jeep this Christmas or summer when i have time. right now, i 'm thinking of a gloss olive drab with the white markings and a blacked out cage. gloss black with military markings in red with a red cage (not communist, just think it'd look catchy). or the original copper color she used to be. those are my ideas, but by all means make suggestions (not pink josh).

i've been flat for years and i'm tired of trying to clean it and the way it streaks and fades. i'm thinking about a semi gloss like i did on my bike though.

Semi gloss all the way. If I recall the body isn't that straight so stay away from anything gloss.

If you're just going to beat it to pieces, why spend the time and money painting it???

because i'd rather not have the body rust off before i get the chance. though i suppose now that it's remotely capable, i could hang out on the bypasses with the mogs  i take it, your keeping your seafoam color then?

That's why I used cheap paint on mine. It still looks pretty good, wont rust away, and I've got $30 in it. Worth the investment for me and those trail scratch's wont bother me like it would if I'd spent much more on the paint.

You have obviously never wheeled with me....
I am keeping the green paint because I don't want to destroy a new paint job the first time I take it down a trail.

I think you should stick with the classics. The OD with white and the black cage. Classic is good for a reason, ya know.

Semi Gloss I think would look good on it, and gloss would too imo. Its up to you. If it were me i would prob do the semi gloss just cause it wont show the trail pinstriping as much
