I'm looking toward building a brick front porch probably in the spring at my house. I figure I need around 150 8" block to do the job. I've been buying up 20-30 at a time here and there to save a few dollars over buying them new. Anybody got some block you want to get rid of let me know. I may be interested.

Thanks

Have you seen the old foundation at my place? There were over 100, but we've been driving over them. I think there's still enough good ones to make a truckload. You will need 4wd to get them though.

So far I've picked up about 75-80 new but unused, so I'm half way there already.

Shawn I'll keep yours in mind but unused is alot easier and I don't have a 4x4 anymore so getting yours would be alot of work. I'll let you know if I need to get some of yours later on.

David, let me know how much you need for yours. So far I've found them local and been gettin them for around $0.50 each. So far I've spent $38 for 80 blocks and that's a mix of 8's and 12's. Don't really need anymore 12's, but I can use them anyway for the right price. Also have tofactor in the fuel to come get them, it may not make since to go that far.

Thanks guys!

I have 140 8" and approx. 30 12" block and 12 or chair block 8"
But if you are getting them for .50 that is a good deal.
I paid 1.25ea. for the 8" and 1.80 ea. for the 12" I would like to get at least 50% of my cost back.
I also have 3 or 4 bags of brick mix mortar as well.
