I know I've not been on much and haven't even met many of you. But God's grace is definately here when it's hard to find other places. I am busting at the seams with gratitude to God. I would never be able to name all the blessings He's given me. I see people so discouraged by being alone. Loneliness is a killer. Especially when we forget a child of God's is NEVER alone. I have battled that monster for 10 years now. But thanks be to God, that monster has been defeated. I have been dating a wonderful man since March,( I know that's not long to some), but the ten years I was alone is when I learned more about myself and my relationship with God. I had given up, accepting I would be alone the rest of my life and actually getting quite content with the idea (so I thought). I almost talked myself out of the first date. But the alone time is what helped me see exactly what I wanted and need from a relationship, and what God wants too. There's been a scripture that has stuck with me for years now 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love;but perfect love casteth out fear because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Anyone that has had a failed relationship knows it's so hard to trust, that brings the fear that whatever happened will happen again, and that fear, whether in the form a jealousy or just that things will never work can torment a person. So to me this means when God is all over a relationship, He and only Him can allow two people to experience love without fear. Not to say things will be perfect, but with God as the glue, nothing can pull it apart. I'm sorry for going on and on. But for the ones battling that monster of loneliness, just remember a child of God's is never alone. But this wonderful man asked me to marry him, and I didn't think the M-word would ever cross my mind again (same for him), but all I could say is in a heartbeat. Because of the scripture I mentioned, we're looking at 4/18, more than likely 09, but I still have another year or so of school. He doesn't want our getting married hinder my education. Cause if I get married, I wont get my portion of survivor benefits (SS), and will have to work fulltime instead of part time. But the way I see it, if it's what God wants, it'll work out fine. OH, and he has something in common with all 3 of the boys, and they think the world of him also. That's a huge plus. Just remember us ok? Sorry so long.

That is awesome hon! :eusa_clap: Praise the Lord :icon_exclaim: You definitely have the right focus - put the Lord first in your life, and everything else supernaturally falls into place. ;)
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Sorry for the confusion 99NCXJ. I'm good at confusing other people, especially myself. Thanks guys. I have never had a wedding, and I don't know the first place to start on planning one. But we want this to be special. Me personally thought of a ride, like on top at Horse Creek or top of some mountain would be cool. But not everyone has 4 wheel drive. So I guess that's out. His mom is good at planning stuff like this, I said she could plan everything and just tell us what to do, but she's in Ohio and I'm sure she'll do what she can from there. Julie or anyone else, I'm open to suggestions if youns have any. Thanks again.

I know from experience it is hard to plan a wedding long distance.

Sam, I'd be honored to help with your wedding in any way possible. It's a possibility that we can work a ride into it somehow. ;)
I think if that is what you want, we should be able to get it somehow. hehehe :)
