Jennifer and I went to see this movie last night. It's a great movie that every married couple needs to see. Not saying that everyone is like the way the movie patrayes the couple but I think it could help a couple to be better for one another.

When I started watching this movie it was like I was watching myself. I cried and couldn't believe how I have been acting towards my wife. I am ashamed of myself. I want to be a better husband to my wife, a better father to my son, and more importantly have a better walk with Christ. I am by no means a good christian. I don't read the bible like I should or try to have a relationship with him.

George.....MAY GOD BLESS YOU MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY.... I don't see you alot. You may not know it but you are an awesome witness for God and to me. I see how you are on the board and what all you have done for this group and others and that's how I want to be for the Lord!

So keep me in your prayers especially and also my family!

Thanks & God Bless!

Mike, I appreciate the good words but anything good you see out of me is not from me but from the Lord. If not for His Spirit that lives in me I would still be the monster I was before He saved me.

I know sometimes I come across hard but I just want believers to take advantage of what the Lord has for us. (John 10:10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.) This is talking about abundance of spiritual blessings (Godly walk, wife, children, friends and so on). I try to always respond to questions and situations with God's word because that's the only source of truth there is, my opinion is worthless unless it's based on scripture.

I can tell you for a fact that you can trust the Lord for everything in your life. Before I was saved and started studying God's word my marriage was almost over, my relationship with my daughter was poor, I didn't have a good job and I lived in an old trailer that was falling down around me.

The second the Lord placed His Holy Spirit in my heart my world was changed forever, now Tammy and I are closer than we've ever been, my relationship with my daughter is awesome and the Lord has blessed me with a great job and a nice place to live that I can use to bring Him glory.

If I could only give one piece of advice to other believers it would be this...always, I mean ALWAYS give the Lord Jesus ALL the credit for everything good in your life (because that's where the good comes from) and assume responsibility If you do this He will bless you more and more because that's what He made us for.

Sorry for the long rant but it just spewed out.

I know I couldn't be where I am today as a professional Pilot if it were not for Him.

But Im like Mike, I really need to make time to read my Bible more. ANd I agree with Mike, George your ability errr Gift to find the right things to say from the bible is truely awesome.

The Bible is like a map through the worse minefield ever made, and the Holy Spirit is the One that leads you by the hand through it...(if you let Him).

In my opinion. This movie is a must for anyone that is married. This is a good movie for all. We took our 9 year old son and he liked it also. Wether you have a great marriage or one on the rocks it will show points where you can improve your marriage. This is no substitute for your Bible, but you will walk away touched by this film. I also want to say that chik-fil-a supports this movie which I think is a good stand for Christ on a company standpoint. They are closed on Sunday too you know.
Mike I'll remember you and your family in my prayers.
