View Full Version : Bumpus Campout and Cleanup

Ok bumpus is getting a little trashed out and is a great local trail. I like I am sure everyone else do not want to see it closed. We may do some cleanup there this Sunday but not sure what everyone will be up to doing. There is also some wrok that needs to be done to improve certain parts of the trail. We will definately get some pics of areas needing improvement while we are there. I was thinking maybe we could plan a campout and cleanup trail repair weekend really soon to get the trail back on track.

Absolutely. Let's scope it out this Sunday and plan a workday in a week or two. My vote would be for a Saturday workday.

The next 3 weeks are going to be crazy for me, I have to move my parents and my own family into different houses.

I'm definatly up for the trail work...2nd week or so in Oct?

I will try to help but have to commit to helping move the family first.

I'm in - but most of my Saturdays will probably be working here since gas prices have gone down.

No date set yet but rob, my wife, and I did a little cleanup today. I have in the bed of my truck now a bumper, some ford trim, a tarp nailed to a 2x4 and a trashbag of bottles and cans. If it is any time soon I will have to catch a ride with someone I am still having serious carb issues on angles (it floods out). So I am looking at fuel injection possiblities for the future.
