Prayer for my son...

Well we had a little accident tonight. I wont go into details, but we went to the hospital. Cat Scan was clear, so we watch him for the rest of the weekend especially close. Wake him up every two hours at night. Back to doctor on Monday.

Mom is pretty shaken up, but it was an accident. Please keep them both in your prayers.

How is your son? How are the two of you?

Just got back from the doctor. Harper is doing just fine. We have the all clear, so no need to go back to the doc until his scheduled 1year shots. Whew. Some scary moments. Steph is still taking it hard, and that will take more time to heal than Harper's head.

Thanks for all the prayers and concern. This is the first of many trips to the ER I'm sure, if he's anything like his daddy. The first always hurts the most though.

Accidents happen. Try to let it go and remember that you are doing your very best work now. You have a son who knows his mommy (and daddy) love him and that will carry him through. Remember to take care of yourself too. That means not blaming yourself when something doesn't go the way it should. Little ones seem to recover faster from just about anything faster if Mom is less stressed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
