If the Bradley’s ever write a book on how to raise children it would be a best seller, this weekend I got to hangout with Andy and his two sons Brandon and Wesley. It is very obvious that Andy and his wife brought these two up in a Christian home and taught them how important it is to be a strong, Godly man. Both of these young men honor their parents, and it was a pleasure to watch them having fun together this weekend...this is something I never experienced with my father.
These days you don't see much if any true "Fathering" so I just wanted to acknowledge it as reminder to all of our young fathers on Grace.
Ps 127:3-5
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Thanks for the compliment George. It's good to have a Dad that likes to do the things you do and will help you out when you need it. Most of the time he's kind of like a big kid. I guess that why it works so good. Mom was usually on to him as much as she was and still is me and my brother. In a good way though.

AMEN, I have known Andy for about 7 years.

It's always great to hear GOOD stories of parenting, instead of the negativity the world portrays. Great parental advice is found in a manual we call Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth ;) and I am living proof of it -
Proverbs 22:6
"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
Although I rebelled adamantly against my parents AND the Lord thru my teenage years, my parents never stopped feeding me HIS Word. In my early 20's I finally came to my senses.....and I've been where I belong (walking with God) ever since. :kewl:
