He had always wanted to be a missionary pilot since we lived in Africa many, many years ago. Well he and his wife and 3 kids left philly, a decent job, family and security for uncertainty, but know they were following Gods will. He went to Moody's flight program in Spokane WA. This sis the one that had been in Elizabethton TN. That was 4 years ago. He already had a Masters Degree so he just needed the mechanic and flight stuff. It has been a huge struggle trying to suppport he family and keep an intense flying schedule. He graduated this past spring. SEveral ministries have been recruiting him (including JAARS) however he really has had a heart for Alaska and a particluar ministry there.
Well he was accepted to Arctic Barnabas Yesterday. www.arcticbarnabas.com (http://www.arcticbarnabas.com) This ministry really plays to his strengths in building and flight. He will have about a year of support raising but they at least have their goal. This is a huge answer to prayer.
The next reqest is that he will get his support raised.
