View Full Version : Knee surgery (again)

I found out today that i am having knee surgery in sept. or oct. I ruptured my A.C.L. again last week at work. They are saying Im going to be off work for @ 6 mon. Atleast workmans comp. is taking care of it. I wanted a vacation, but not like this.:icon_smile:

Off for 6 months. Wow that's a long time. Praying. I've had several knee surgery's so I know what you're going through.

Found out today that my surgery is scheduled for Oct. 3rd.

Hope it goes alright, I have had work done all over my body. Neck, Shoulders, knees, ribs... They wanted too reoperate I voted too hold off. I'll pray for you man. It is ruff but God will provide.

Well the surgery went great with only one draw back, I am going to posibly have another surgery. While they were doing the surgery they found that another ligiment was 50% torn and I should find out something tomorow.

Sorry to hear you are going to go through another surgery.

Seems like to me they should have fixed it while they were in there.

They would have fixed it but the ligiment is the P.C.L. , it is a very complicated surgery due to the location of it. They will half to go through the back of my knee to get to it. Part of the ligiment goes through bone and the surgery will last 6-8 hrs. depending on the cadaver donor tissue. Thanks for keeping me in yall's thaughts and prayers.

I was just thinking it may have been a way to get more money out of ya. I pray your heeling, and surgery goes well!
