That's right folks,we Team Turtle are having a Toy run saturday aug the 9th.
Location will be Callantee located just outside MountainCity Tn.
More info can be found in the thread on NC4x4.
There will be various rides that morning from stock type rigs to a bunch of truggy's ,buggy's and evrything in between.
Most if not all "organized" runs will start by 10am. with folks lining up about 9:30.
I have arranged with the park owner Mr. Paul Brown to allow all of us to exchange a new unwrapped toy for a free trail pass that saturday.
There will be lots of folks showing their support for Callantee that saturday.
So mark your calenders and join friends and new people on the trails.
We will be passing out very small colored dots, with exchange of a gift,so the owner knows how many folks are supporting this.
Any ? just ask.

Sorry we are going to miss this one. It's a neat place to ride, and a very worthy cause.

Any suggestion on preferred toys? Boy - girl?
bansil
08-05-2008, 10:07 AM
Seems like most folks have decided to bring one for a boy and one for a girl.
These do not need to be $$ we are bring about $25 worth,a couple dolls, some building blocks and some action figures.
Talk seems to be the 2/3 year olds to about 10 or so.......

Wow! I had a blast today. Did welder, armour all, and tow. Then did pull cable twice. The fun was Tow and Tower. Tow wasn't really that hard, but fun to watch people with rockwell rigs try it for 30 minutes. I did it twice. Managed to get a really good roll at Tower. Everything it mostly ok, just cut my head on a rock a little.
