Check out the scenery in Ouray, Colorado at this year's FSJ invasion last week (held annually). My "lofty" goal is to make it out there for next year's event. :icon_biggrin:

That looks like a great trip. I like the picture with the waterfall in the backgroud. I've driven up Pikes Peak and the air gets pretty thin above 12,000 feet.

I saw a few of these Jeeps on the trail - nice group of guys. We were just out there for the FJ Cruiser Summit - it's during the same time frame as the FSJ Invasion. It's definitely an awesome place to go wheel...the scenery is unparalleled.

I did....but I'd already made plans to go before I sold the FJC...and the guy who bought it lives near Denver, CO so he brought it out and wheeled with us. We ended up going to Moab for a couple of days and then bouncing back into Ouray. It was definitely a fun time - even though I was there w/out a truck of my own @ the time.
That's alright though - wait till I get the new one built:D

It's a '99 4Runner....
Factory rear E-Locker, 4.30 gears, 180k miles....a good truck to build up.
I'm gonna do a couple of bumpers, front locker, inchworm lefty, skids and sliders...and see what it'll do..haha

Actually Rob, one of my long time goals is to trailer out there and ride those trails. Even the pictures are breathtaking.

IIRC, Derrick doesn't live far from this area. :icon_idea:
Aaron, you're always welcome to come out for the FSJ invasion. It might be what they call a "baby Jeep", but in their eyes - at least its a Jeep. ;) Matt, I figured there must've been an Toyota FJ thing going on, alot of the FSJ'ers were moaning about sharing the KOA campground with them - BUT, it also sounds like the FSJ crowd's behavior wasn't any better. :icon_mrgreen: Pretty sure this was the 7th annual FSJ event.

Yeah - some of those FJ guys are a little wild...haha
I'm thinking that the final number of FJs that we had in town was like 291?
