Last week the water holes at the top were deep. My buggy was on 44" tires and my butt was wet. A guy with us on 33's made it though. Be carefull to hit it slow and not splash into it.

Literally just walked in the door from the beach. I will post roll call tommorrow. Too tired right now. If anyone has an extra seat, I will probably be riding shotgun. About 40 miles outside of JC coming home from the beach, my rear diff started giving me a bit of a vibe again. We shall see how it acts this week as to whether or not I wheel it. Time for the 8.8 install!!

Sure thing Clint we can convoy. Yea I got a CB and got it installed. I ran it by the CB man, caught him just right and when he checked it, it read 1.2 so he didn't have to do anything. Took about a minute.

Folks, there was full convoy at bumpas today. I was riding my dirtbike with my son and a daughter's boyfriend. We made it all the way to the clearing at the top. The slick rock was easier than I expected. It is pretty impressive that the vehicles that passed us near the beginning of the trail would make it all the way. Dirt bikes were challenging to ride up the trench and the washes. Maybe someday, we have a jeep to run.

I saw you as I passed by. Was a fun ride today. No major carnage to speak of, except for starter problems on YJMudders jeep after he GIJOE'ED it through a mud hole and stalled the engine. Slick Rock was dry as a bone. The trenches were also very dry and proved to be alot of fun. Lots of pics to come from lots of folks. FR190 has been opened back up although most of us opted to take the trail back down.

Good ride today! had a great time and got to meet a few new faces. I broke the pas. mirror off but gladly I have a spare.......BIG thanks to everyone who jumped on my rig today! I would have had a great view of the stars with out ya'll. Did the second group make it out after the traffic? we had to go thru Jonesborough due to traffic that had been backed up for 5 hours. we heard a car hit a motorcycle and someone was killed.

babyjeepwoman is making this look easy!! Her OX locker worked very well. She pretty much crawled wherever she wanted to go. I have finally solved my carb issues on my CJ with the swap to the MC2150. I was able to make slick rock and the hill before the lunch spot without stalling for the first time.

Our only carnage was my front axle shifter for the twin sticked D300 broke off, and babyjeepwoman took a tumble when she slipped getting out of her Jeep.

oh yes it was a great run you can barely tell now that I got the rubber mallot, spare mirror, clay bar/wax out and went to town on it! when I took it to the car wash I noticed (after it was too late) that I had hit the door and bent the door trim so bad there was a gap between the trim and the glass and the pillar was crushed.......but its all good now!

My first trip up Bumpus, I had no idea that taking a Jeep off road like that would be that much fun. Man am I hooked!!! I'd like to thank Chase and Arron and the TNmudders for inviting me on this ride. I didn't know what to expect on the trail. Thank you Daniel for spotting me and many of the others through the trail. Hope to do it again soon. :kewl:

Glad you could meet with us Maynard. Yes, it is addicting. I've driven through so many places I would have difficulty walking through. Every time is different, and every time makes me think of more things I can change on my Jeep. Good pics too, I used one as my new computer background.
