This is our 5th annual Buns and Guns, the men's ministry at my church hosts it at my place. It's an evening of food, firearms and fellowship. We usually cook hotdogs but I think we will also have hot wings as well. We have a few targets we shoot at so bring your legal firearms and enjoy the fun.

Directions
Take I-26 north, go all the way to the end (Lynn Garden Drive Exit). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp, go 100 yards to the light, turn left on Carter Valley Road (TN346), then go 2 miles, on the left behind the brick ranch with the huge white two story garage.

If coming from Gate City turn right on TN346 after you cross the TN-VA line.

That's exactly what I was thinking. How far is this event from Roan Mountian B&B, just outside Elizabethton?

Oh, that's not too bad, I may plan to come up with a fe friends, and ride with you guys one weekend soon.

I cant drive just yet due to medical reasons (big hit to the head) but my dad is going so I think Ill just ride with him. But thank you very much for the offer. :)

I know I'm still a newby Grace guy, but I'm free Saturday and will volunteer to do anything you guys need help on. Anything from setting up, helping with food, or moving target, it doesn't matter. Just let me know.

Awesome Don! You can come as early as you want I will probably be out stirring around about 10:00. I will be bushogging and could use some weed eaters.

I'll be there about 1ish. Anything you need besides weed trimmers? I'm hoping to free Don up enough so he can do the moving target thing.

Well not going back to school till Sunday so I may be able to come. If I come I will be heavily armed. Biggest thing is I wouldn't get to stay very long though.

Had a great time @ George's tonight. Got to meet a few of you guys and had some wonderfull fellowship. Hope there's not too many pics of the pathfinder stuck in the mud. Can't believe I had to be pulled out of the middle of a field. Thanks for the help Ben.

That was funny! You found the only wet spot in a 10 acre field...but don't feel bad I've been stuck there several times :icon_redface:

BTW...the fire is still burning big time :icon_eek:

I had a blast and no moving target would have escaped that crowd. There had to be at least 75-100 people there, and most were very heavily armed. The 50 caliber was worth going for alone. Met some great people!
It was a great, different way to get the Lord's message out to a bunch of people.

Believe it or not, the brush gaurd saved me. I landed on it instead of the front bumper. I have some of your grass hanging off of it if you want it back...
that dang fire's gona burn for two days. Holler @ me and we'll build that fire ring!!!
