Heart Problems

The family and I were at the hospital all day today with my Grandmother. We found out that Monday they are going to have to do 3 to 6 bypasses on her. Please pray that the operation goes well.

Lord, we know that you are the Great Physician. And that you bend your ear close to us to hear us when we call you. It is with great attention that you lavish your love on us. Thank you that we know that "all things work together for good, to those who love you and are called according to your purpose" (Rom 8:28). And we know that nothing happens that you don't know about or that catches you unaware. So tonight we lay this grandmother before you, knowing her family is worried. Be near to her. Give the doctors steady hands and great wisdom. If it is your will, we pray that you will provide healing for her and give her more time on earth with her family. And we pray that the "peace that passes understanding" will surround them during this time. Thank you that we can come with boldness before your throne and present our requests before you knowing that You are in control of all things.
