Everyone is invited, it takes place at my farm where there's plenty of room to camp if you want.
We will have live music, free food, the big inflatable games for the kids, and of course tons of fireworks!

Be sure and bring your family and friends, there's no charge for this event.
I would like to see a good turn out from you guys, bring your rigs for the water/mud hole, trails and rock garden.
Directions
Take I-26 north, go all the way to the end (Lynn Garden Drive Exit). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp, go 100 yards to the light, turn left on Carter Valley Road (TN346), then go 2 miles, on the left behind the brick ranch with the huge white two story garage.
If coming from Gate City turn right on TN346 after you cross the TN-VA line.

There's going to be around 5,000 people there so if you are coming to wheel please stay on the other side of the creek because there will be too many people walking around to be going crazy in your rigs. If you are bring a trailer you will need to park in the new area I cleaned off behind the flag (right side) or the target range area.
I can't stress enough how much we need to make room for more parking.

If you'd rather us not bring trailer and rigs, just say that and I'll leave it at home.

No, it's fine we just need to park them out of the way so the community (who we're reaching out to) will have room to get in.
Guys remember this is about having a good time and celebrating our independence but the main reason we do it is to present the Gospel to those who won't come too a church but will come out to see fireworks. This is why the Lord has blessed it so much over the years.

Had an awesome time - outstanding event as usual! George, thank you & Ridgeview Baptist Church for hosting such a wonderful show. :eusa_clap: I really enjoyed giving all those kids rides up the hill. :icon_biggrin:
It's tiny (phone camera), but here is a short video of the fireworks, it was pretty much like this the whole time. Keep in mind the flag stand & crosses are ~20ft tall:

(you can save it & play back on Realplayer at 200% zoom to see it better ;) Dunno how to convert a .3gp format to .wmv :( )

I had a great time and we were so blessed that the rain held off until everyone was gone, truely a miracle of God because we had damaging storms all around us.
I want to thank all you guys who gave the kids rides, you understand that this is an outreach and not just an event to intertain us.

Had a great time. I was actually leary of giving the children rides in mine. With bad brakes and all, I would feel horrible if something happened to a child while riding in my Jeep. Just scares me. The fireworks were awesome!!

We had an awesome time!
As stated thanks George and Ridgeview Baptist Church! I've got some video of the fireworks I'll post later.
George during the show looks like there was a small problem with one of the fireworks table. One blew right above the table and then the rest of the table went off. I caught a glimpse of someone running from the table when it happened. I was just wondering if he was ok.

Yea, he loaded the mortar upsidedown and it blew through the table and ignited all the fireworks below it around 100 mortars went off all at once...no one was hurt.

I was wandering about that too. Glad everyone was ok. We were on that side of the show, right next to the ropes. I saw the whole thing go down. Freaked me out. I actually yelled to my wife to get back.

There were several visitors at church this morning that came to the 4th, some of them were the kids you guys took on rides....they went on and on about it. Know this that the Lord will bless you guys for giving of your time and vehicles.
