Just thought I would ask and see if anyone on here had this:
I need the driver side piece from the axle to the bumper of the frame. My steering box has almost detached its self from the frame and my Jeep is currently sitting over at Drake's shop waiting on a new frame piece. I have went to Tri-city auto salvage across from BMS but they have just beat around the bush about it. If anyone can help please let me know.

I bet Drake could fab a better one if you had a good frame to get measurements from (like Bill's, Ben's, or Andy1's for example) ;)

Well we looked at that option as well and it would cost way to much in labor since he would have to make bolt holes and everything where the steering box would mount to. So we decided just to hack off an old frame and go that route.

I would go the route with drake. It will end up being stronger. This is along the lines of what drake would do.

YJ frames are rust prone in that area.
You could also have him make a steering box brace that goes to the other side of the frame while your at it so the stress won't be so bad on the drivers side.
