Okay, this is a little out of the ordinary but I was really impressed by this place. It's in JC and I'm sure most of us have seen the TV commercials "You can Trust this Yankee!" Phil really is a down to earth genuinley nice guy. The food was really good, but the atmosphere and Phil's wonderful outgoing kindness really impressed me. Check it out sometime, I'll definetly go back.

I feel that I have to bring something up after trying this place out tonight...
The food that my wife and I ordered wasn't awful, but it wasn't anything spectacular either. I felt that the food was really overpriced for what it was.
This is what we got ...
half of a ham & cheese sub
Cup of tap water in a small cup
16 oz cup of tea
cheesesteak sub
we shared a small order of fries
Our bill came to $17.52 without the tip. Since my wife's portion of the bill was only 5.25 (the ham & cheese and cup of water) that means that my sub, fries, and tea was 12.27. I would've been much more satisfied spending that kind of money at Quiznos or something.
We didn't get to meet the owner, so the only excitement was what was on the tv.
In summary, I wouldn't call it a bad place to eat...just expect to pay more than you would at most places for mediocre food.

Most sub shops charge around 7 dollars for a sub, extra for fries, and usually about 3 dollars for a tea or something. Also they usually charge a tax of about two dollars. So that really does not sound too bad.
