well was discussing making some cards with a couple other members and we all thought it would be a good idea, something like if you see a nice rig, leave it on their windshield or if you meet someone give em a card. Now the way it was planned would be super simple, if one of the mods* would put the form on the site then anyone with access to the site could download it and print it off on their own printer. I beleive it has 8 cards per sheet. I took a min and made a few examples, please don't get upset if i used your rig without permission, like I said these are just examples and can be changed. well here they are, sorry about the pic quality had to jump through hoops just to get it in jpeg format

with the graphics and colors, they aren't practical to mass produce.

It's a great idea though, we have talked about this before. I can get cards made at work.

its a standard size paper you print through your home printer, it has 8 cards on it i have photo paper that i would use for mine because its a bit stiffer then plain paper, its not really a mass production type deal, print one out, cut the cards out and throw them in your glove box........

I think its a great idea. But if we do it I think we need to have them made somewhere. It would be so muc simpler to do it that way.

that would be cool, probably look a little better too  i just figured this would be an easy way for any member ( including those in Florida and Arkansas) to have access to them

I would rather pay for printing then have them at the M&G for people to pick up. If we do something that can be printed it should be simple so if it gets wet it might still be readable.

I think it's less than $15 for three lines and no graphics for 1000 cards.

Should we include an email on the card? Maybe admin@4x4grace.com incase they have trouble signing up? At one time I was listed as a membership director and I got several emails with people that just weren't familiar with how to use a forum. They had simple questions that needed to be answered.

Come ride with us!

I dont see any blazers on that list  I voted for the rover, because most people wont know it is a Rover,I personally dont think we need to put any one certain brand on them, because they might think it is a Jeep only, toy only,or whatever only club. Just my unsolicited opinion.

although i like the not specifying vehicle thing i agree with steve, on the muddy grace you can't really tell what it is, plus it's a pretty cool pic, i would definately vote for some kind of graphic on them though, plain lettering might not get to some people, you know the whole senses and being a visual person thing.....just my .02

Probably a better idea is to make a group pic at harlan and use it.

That's good. Do you have the time to answer them or should it go to someone else?

Those cards a great idea. You could do both, have some printed and put the layout in the supporter forum for people to print. Like hammerhead said for those of us that can't come to any M&G's, it would nice to have available to print. Cardstock works good for those type of things. James

Yes, I'm logged in 24/7 and read every post.

Here's what I've got, this will print out nicely and be legible. I had 500 of them made

How about a pic of a big muddy swamper tire only! Any vehicle could have that on it.

Dino1967
04-20-2006, 10:53 AM
that looks great george

if i hadn't been there i wouldn't know what kind of vehicle it is own

why is it people want to bring more attention to there vehicle than they are to god

it isn't the vehicle that we are promoting

our group of people all have very nice rigs let our actions show off our rigs whether its on the road or parked at work or on the trail or with a big convoy going somewhere
