A Friend

I just learned a friend of mine her ex husband committed suicide a couple weeks ago, although he was her ex they spent 13 years together and she is taking it kind of rough. Her name is Lisa and I'm praying for strength and peace for her an her family through this. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

[-o< [-o< My "ex" passed away 6 years ago, that was the worst pain I had ever experienced when someone died (so far). It gave me peace that we were friends though (got along good with his wife too). If there's children involved, as a mom, it seemed like my arms weren't long enough to wrap around or strong enough to hold them when they heard. God has a way of getting his comfort through though, in time. She's in my prayers.

It seems that suicide the harder passing to understand.
My brother committed suicide 7 years ago this past Sept.
My mom still has difficulties during that month. She wonders
if she could/should have known. He didn't live close to her so
I try, every year, to help her get through it and understand
that she couldn't have helped. I sure don't understand the
why either, but I guess we will just have to live with that.

My thoughts and prayers are sure with her and her family.
For some, it gets easier with time. For others, it is a struggle
and takes a LONG time. Just be there for her.
