I'm a member for this park just outside Charlottesville. If any of you would like to wheel there sometime let me know.. It's a great park that's as hard as you want to make it.

Yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day of wheeling at Crozet. We had some good rigs show up and had a really good time. It was pretty muddy (slimy) and cold though. Here are pics of the carnage. Feel free to ask me what's going on in certain pics as I'm too lazy to do a full commentary :P . Oh, and even though this was organized as a Mid-Atlantic Toyota Crawlers run we were supposed to have a Samurai and an Xterra with us but they wimped out so that's how it turned out all Toyota ;) .

It was a blast and that place is great. I'm so glad I sprung for the membership. It's nice to have a completely legal and challenging place to wheel 1.5 hours from home. They have everything running there from near stockers to full on buggies. Wait till I get the sammy done, then I'll really hit it hard :lol:

Probably 2 hours or so. It's exit 107 on 64 (just west of C-Ville).

I have no idea what grille was in that 715.. I only talked to him briefly.

I'd say about 2.5. I do it in 2 from my house in Roanoke. I don't fly up the highway, just moderate speeds. I am also a member so Anthony and I can probably get a ride up there for you guys as guests. It's a great place to wheel.

It's also nice that he has a shop if you break anything.

Yup, you can primitive camp in that field in the first 2 pics. Also, there is an entrance charge, $30 a day for non-members.

It would need to be at least two days of wheeling, is there camping on site? Dang son,you need something better on fuel.I drive 2 ton trucks with diesel engines pulling a 18.000 lb backhoes and other equip that get 9 to 11 mpg all day long.

George, $261 is a lot less than a payment on a diesel truck. I will most likely go older gasser that I can pick up fairly inexpensively. You can go up Firday. Wheel Saturday and Sunday and drive back Sunday night or go for longer. There is plenty to wheel there.

I love your tow rig. I need something that will pull 2 rigs and sleep 5. That's why I'm saving. I can't decide between a toter home and trailer or 5th wheel with living quarters. Be a couple years anyway and I'll change my mind about 50 times between now and then.
