need jeep hardware [Archive]

Well as i was attempting to finish tinting the last 2 windows in the jeep, i ran into a problem.

The vent windows work just fine. The locks were so rusted that i couldnt get them apart. so ended up breaking the screw in half. and drilled it out. Now i am needing 2 new lock pieces. i will see if i can get a picture.

Advance has nothing. But the guy said there was a Jeep store in Johnson City that would probably get me some. I must not be looking in the right place. i cant find it. Hadnt had time to hit the junkyard yet either. But i need one for each side. they are side specific i do believe.

Anyone know where this place is in JC? or where to order some.

Might be able to get them from Justin (99NCXJ) off that MJ he's parting out.

If not, that Jeep place is right near the Market Street Autozone in JC. I can't remember the name - someone here might have a phone number.

IIRC John Was the old guy that ran it about 10 years ago, right George?(didn't know that was his last name)

Either way, the store was sold about 5 or 6 years ago if memory serves. I talked with the lady whose boyfriend/husband bought it(while i was workin on his F-150).

Well, stopped by the jeep place in JC today. No luck. he said he couldnt get me any. But he did say he has a friend that might have some......yada yada. that dont help me.

So gonna try to hit the junk yards tom. and monday. Maybe find something!
