I've decided to get some new tires. Havent decided yet on whether i want 33x10.50 or 33x12.50. I've got the 12.50's now and they stick out and protect my body. But once I decide which tire I want the size decision will have its turn. I think I've gotten my mind made up, just thought I would see what you guys thought.

ahh How much will you be on the road and how much will you be off the road. I mean depending on the on road usage I will be able to make a better judgement for you.

Drive it to work maybe once a week and on weekends some. But probably not as much when i get new tires. So offroad is #1 conern.

My vote is always Bogger, but I guess everyone know's that. They should last you a lillte longer since your's is lighter.Really depends on your axles,if your running stock or near stock I would probably run something a little less aggressive.

Id go TSL. I like boggers but like steve said they are hard on parts. I think TSL's will be your best bet.

Boggers rule! They wear quicker than TSL's, but they have awesome traction.
As for being hard on parts, as long as you don't have a locker it doesn't matter as there won't be enough stress to break anything.

any bias ply like TSL, bogger, or LTB will beat you to death on the road. i only drive my 4runner with 33x13.50 LTBs to the trail, but boy is it hard on my kidneys.
i love my TSL Radials

My vote is for a set of SX's, had a buddy who ran these on his buggy. He had like no tread left, but because of what he had on his sidewalls he still crawled over everything....pretty crazy to see. Anyhow you need to check out this guys post on pirate, he seems to be gettin' killer deals w/ no shipping. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=459030
If you go this route let me know, in about 1.5 week if I can find me a set of tires used I'm gonna order some 38's from this guy. Don't know but he might cut us a group buy deal.

Yep, I really like my TSl-SX's, but they are a long ways from street friendly. Around town is fine, but I can't seem to get them to balance out for anything over 50mph. Off-road they are fantastic. You almost have to run beadlocks though cause it takes single digit presures to get them to start flexing even a little. I run 8 psi offroad and they still don't bulge a whole lot.

Have you tried balancing with Airsoft pellets? I've heard that they work good for tires that won't balance right.

I just put them in my tires. I got the dense ones at Mahoney's for about $12 a bottle and put half a bottle in each tire. The tires I put them in are for my EB project, so it will be quite awhile before I have results.

I've tried BB's before and now they have golf balls in them. Honestly I can't tell alot of difference from when I ran them with no balancing at all.

I emailed that guy from Pirate. He emailed me back pretty quick and can cut a little bit down on the price if he got an order of at least 2 sets (8 tires). So if anybody wants to order just let me know and maybe we can, thing is they would have to be shipped to the same place, not too big of a problem though.
