Yeah I am going to need something on the beast cause I am going to have a lot of expensive stuff in there. I know Viper is really good I was just seeing if anyone has anything else out there.

An alarm isn't going to stop anyone. Ever heard of smash and grab? The bust the window (alarm goes off) then they grab what they want and run. By the time you get there it's all over. Just throw an old blanket over stuff in the back.

For a good amount of time I thought of getting a alarm for my truck because I used to have a good amount of money tied up in my stereo. Im glad I never got one. I hate going through parking lots cause I set the alarms of in alot of cars. Its funny but the thing is I watch people when these alarms are going off and they could careless. My point is anymore people just ignore the sound of a alarm so i dont think there really is any point in them.

I never lock the jeep.... I would rather them open the door and take what they want, versus busting out or cutting a window.

I mean if they need a tow strap, cup holder full of change, and some brake fluid that bad...have at it. :)

Now if someone stole my JEEP, I would have to go all "Walker Texas Ranger" on them.

I was told by one of my old insurance companies that if its unlocked then what ever is on the inside is not covered and if it is locked and broken into, then just about every thing was covered.

Got to consider the deductible.

my rover has a alarm system and its integrated into EVERYTHING....its annoying. if you physically lock one door all of them lock and of course if i unlock one door they all unlock. when the alarm does go off its almost deafening, and you can't start the car unless you have the remote or the key to turn it off through the door lock.

i hate it....i wish i didn't have it, because it will fail one day

Hey Clint is this your'n or just a pic ya found? No But I do have a 1911. I have a springfield armory. Mine is fully loaded and has all the options but adjustable sights and having the barrel ported. It looks like this. http://www.sandnessjoen-pk.com/images/Springfield.jpg Also mine is not a long slide. The one in the picture is a long slide

I know a guy that used to take a pellet gun with him, shoot the side window out of a car, drive around for a few blocks, make sure that the alarm had turned itself off, and the coast was clear, and get whatever he wanted.

Used to install car audio and security. If you can locate the stickers for viper or another brand get them and stick them on it. I used to walk around and set alarms off for fun. Go to walmart with someone that has an alarm and have them set it off and see how many people really pay attention! Ull be surprised.

Thanks for all the input! I was just wanting to see if anyone had one or people input into it. I wasn't really wanting to spend $300 + on an alarm. You all give me hope in the world after all! Thanks
