TSC had some at one time (Warn), not sure if they still do though.

I got some from Northern. They were $20 each. I had to do a quick modify on 'em, so I'll shoot a pic tomorrow and post up and explain. (Too cold to go out and root around in my stowage box in the Heep tonight  )

X3. I need to start loading up on recovery equipment myself. Never know when another jeep may flop on its side  J/K

Tractor Supply has some nice ones, believe they're Champion brand. The big one is rated for 16k. I have one of the Northern blocks, and I'm not that fond of it. Can't remember how much TSC is selling the Champion blocks for though.

Nick.....it ain't wise to be the pot calling the kettle 'black'.

There are very few that have flopped on a Ramp.
Sorry Nick, I had to.

I bought a couple of these. I removed the fixed roll pin on one side, then added the removable spring pin to allow placement around the wire rope. They are rated 12K, IIRC, as they are not actually marked. The wheel diameter is about 3" and is for 5/16" wire rope.

The negative is that you can drop the pieces when installing/setting up for the pull, as compared to the standard Warn design. But, I bought them for $20 each, instead of $60 or so each for the Warn style.

That could be done, I suppose, but you could run into pinching the wheel if the two halves compressed together at the open end without the hook to keep them separated a little.

I haven't used them, either, so we'll see if I still like 'em after a use or two. I may figure that the savings isn't worth it, although I doubt it.

The Warn one is rated for 20k lbs. IF you have the money ARB has a new one that is sweet.

The Champion ones that TSC has are like the Warn ones, only bigger.
