well I'll start with the bad and end on a good, BAD: don't go to discount mufflers on roan st in jc, i went there this afternoon to have my muffler welded to my header (talked to leo as jeff the owner was not there) i didnt realize i was missing a coupler? so it wasnt as easy as just welding,so he said. I asked him how much for the piece he told me 65 before labor, i asked if there was a more economical way to do it and he treated me like i was stupid then told me he could weld some pipes to make a sleeve and would only charge me 45 for jerry riging my truck, i was almost willing, I asked if he'd do it for 30 and he laughed at me so i left.
GOOD: Murphy's Muffler on Buffalo and Walnut. The man at murphys looked at my truck, I went through the same economical shpieal and he quickly stopped me and said if it was to be done there it would be done right,so i asked him how much he said coupler and labor 45 but not until tommorrow afternoon,take in mind it was about 5 till 5 at this point, i asked him if he was willing to do it today i would throw in an extra 10 explaining that this is my dd and i didnt want to risk another day and get a ticket, so he told me keep the extra money and pull it in, he did the job, did it right, and did it fast. They earned a new customer and i highly reccomend them. also got a qoute on new exhaust 120 for 2 1/2in pipe and muffler, i'll definately be going back
